RRB Technician Eligibility 2026
The educational qualification depends on the Technician post. Candidates applying for Technician Grade-I Signal can qualify through the specified B.Sc. subjects or the prescribed Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
For Technician Grade-III posts, the prescribed qualification includes Matriculation or SSLC along with ITI from a recognised NCVT/SCVT institution in the relevant trade or the specified Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
Engineering Degree or Diploma is not accepted in place of ITI/CCAA for Pay Level-2 posts unless specifically permitted for a particular post.
