Consultant (Content Writer)

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or English Literature from a recognised university. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any stream along with a Master’s degree in Mass Communication or Journalism can apply.

The required experience is 5-8 years in content writing, copywriting or editorial roles in reputed organisations, agencies or digital platforms. Experience in long-format content, audiovisual scripts, social media articles, blogs, advertising and marketing collaterals is required. Candidates should also have strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Consultant (Graphic Designer)

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream along with an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design or a related discipline from a recognised university.

A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience is required, including strategic understanding of brand design and creative direction, experience in leading design projects or managing a creative team, and a strong portfolio showing versatility, conceptual thinking and design leadership.

Consultant (Video Editor)

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream along with a Diploma/Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Visual Arts or Animation from a recognised university.

A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience as a Video Editor is required, preferably in TV media, advertising, digital media, broadcasting or a creative agency. Experience with social media videos, brand films, promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, documentaries and corporate communication content is required.

AAI Consultant Age Limit

The upper age limit for all three Consultant posts is 40 years. The cut-off date for determining age, qualification and experience is 25 October 2026 at 5:30 PM.

AAI Consultant Salary

The monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,20,000/- is all-inclusive for each Consultant position.

Skills and Competencies

Content Writer

• Ability to prepare clear, concise, grammatically accurate and engaging content in English and Hindi.
• Creative and conceptual thinking.
• Ability to develop fresh and compelling ideas.
• Ability to simplify complex data or subjects into engaging narratives and stories.

Graphic Designer

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of CorelDRAW.
• Knowledge of 3D design tools is desirable.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Skills in creating social media creatives, infographics, GIFs and banners.
• Applicants must submit a comprehensive portfolio covering digital and print design work.

Video Editor

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Media Encoder.
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer.
• Understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions and visual storytelling.
• Ability to handle colour grading, audio mixing, stabilisation and motion graphics integration.
• Basic animation, VFX and 3D compositing knowledge is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of camera formats, frame rates, lighting basics and sound design principles.

AAI Consultant Duties

• Content Writer: Draft, edit and proofread press releases, articles, reports, speeches and digital content while maintaining clarity, accuracy and consistency.
• Graphic Designer: Create professional graphics for invitations, backdrops, hoardings, social media content, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Video Editor: Edit and produce multimedia content by converting raw footage into polished video products as required by the directorate and concerned authorities.

AAI Consultant Selection Process

The selection process will consider academic qualifications and relevant experience. It will also include document verification and an interview.

Candidates must produce original documents supporting their qualifications, experience and age when called for document verification and interview. Meeting the eligibility criteria or submitting an application does not guarantee a call for interview or selection.
